Can I view the office workspace before I book?
Yes! We offer a free virtual tour of the office, which you can access by visiting the Contact Us page or email us at eastsidestudioldn@gmail.com. If you’d like to book an in-person viewing, please go to the Contact Us page and get in touch with us directly or by emailing us. There is no charge for viewings.
How can I make a booking?
All bookings can be made online through our booking system. Simply click the ‘Book Now’ button in the top menu, or Contact Us through the Contact Us page. Alternatively email us at eastsidestudioldn@gmail.com.
How can I check the office availability?
You can view our office availability in real time by following our online booking process until you reach the calendar page.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the session are eligible for a full refund. You can also reschedule your booking, subject to availability. We appreciate as much notice as possible.
Can I book recurring sessions or long term?
Absolutely. We welcome recurring or long-term bookings and can offer discounted rates for regular use. Just reach out via the Contact Us page or email us at eastsidestudioldn@gmail.com to discuss your needs.

What is included when I book the office space?
- Black electric height-adjustable desk (160 x 70 cm) with programmable memory presets - Premium grey Boulies ergonomic chair with full back support, 4D armrests, and adjustable recline, perfect for long workdays, and it even leans back far enough to lie down if you need a break - Two Dell monitors (connect via HDMI, USB, or USB-C) - Full Fibre 145 Mbps high-speed internet - Mouse and keyboard - Headphones with built-in microphone - Desk speakers - Multiple plug sockets - Heating (we can adjust to your preference) - Free tea and coffee provided - Use of the neutral studio backdrop and lighting. - Access to premium blue velvet chairs, ideal for casual work, breaks or virtual interviews.
Can I have clients or guests visit me in the office?
Yes, you may have up to 2 guests or clients join you during your booking. However, for security and misuse prevention, the following conditions apply: - All visitors must provide valid photo ID, and we will take a copy to hold on file for up to 90 days. After that, it will be securely deleted. - Each visitor must sign a short agreement before entry. - You must inform us in advance of who will be attending. - Group meetings or multiple guest rotations throughout the day are not permitted. **Please note, if you are booking for a full day booking, you must contact us before the booking if you would like any guests with you.
Can I use the space for video calls or virtual appointments?
Yes. The space is ideal for video conferencing, online meetings, or virtual consultations. If you need an upgrade in cameras, lighting or audio, please contact us before hand and we can arrange this. Please use the Contact Us page or email us at eastsidestudioldn@gmail.com
Can I use the space to record professional video content?
Yes. If you'd like to record interviews or create high-quality content, you can request a 4k camera setup for an additional charge. Please contact us in advance if you'd like this arranged.
What restrictions apply to food and drink?
Free tea and coffee are provided. You may bring cold food and covered drinks into the space. Alcohol is not permitted on the premises.
Are toilets available?
There are no toilets available on the premises, but facilities are available just a 1-minute walk away.
Is the space cleaned between bookings?
Yes, the desk, chairs, screens and high touch areas are thoroughly cleaned between each booking to maintain a fresh and hygienic environment.
Can I smoke on the premises?
No, smoking is not allowed inside the studio at any time. However, you’re welcome to smoke outside the premises.
Can I bring a pet or dog into the office?
No, unfortunately pets are not allowed inside the studio due to health and safety and to protect our equipment.
Can I bring my own laptop and equipment?
Yes, your own laptop will be needed and you can plug in your own equipment. Please try to let us know before hand what you plan to use. Use the Contact Us page or email us at eastsidestudioldn@gmail.com
What happens if I need extra time beyond my booked slot?
We charge £0.40 per additional minute. However, if there is another booking after yours, you will be required to stop on time. To avoid being cut short, it's best to book extra time or for the full day if needed. Will someone help me setup?
Yes, someone will be available to greet you when you arrive and show you around the studio. Once you're set up, you'll be left to work in peace, but if you need anything during your session, just give us a shout and we’ll be happy to help.
Is the space heated/air-conditioned all year round?
While the office does not have air conditioning, it remains cool throughout the year and does not require it. Heating and temperature control are available to ensure a comfortable environment during your booking.
Is the office soundproof or private enough for confidential calls?
The space has been professionally sound-treated to minimise noise interference, though it is not fully soundproof. That said, your privacy is respected, the door will be closed, and you'll be left alone in a quiet, undisturbed environment for your calls or meetings.
Is CCTV in operation?
Yes, CCTV is in operation for security purposes, both for your safety and to protect the equipment on-site. While a camera is positioned in the room, it is carefully angled away from your screens and working area, so it cannot capture any confidential information or paperwork. If you have specific privacy concerns, please let us know in advance, we're happy to adjust the angle further or offer alternative solutions to ensure you're comfortable during your booking.
Is there Wi-Fi available?
Yes, we provide fast Full Fibre 145 Mbps internet. Wi-Fi login details will be provided on-site when you arrive. If you need an Ethernet cable, just let us know in advance.
Is the space wheelchair accessible?
At this time, the studio is not wheelchair accessible due to the layout of the building. However, we are happy to help accommodate any accessibility needs where we can. Please contact us before booking.
RATES, PAYMENT & POLICIES
How much does it cost to hire the office space?
Our standard rate is £24 for a 2 hour session (minimal). Full day bookings, 8am to 6pm are priced at £70.
Do you offer discounts for long bookings or regular use?
Yes! We offer custom packages for regular clients, weekly usage, or monthly bookings. Please contact us on the Contact Us page or email us at eastsidestudioldn@gmail.com with your enquiry and the total number of hours you’d like to book.
Do you offer student discounts?
Yes, we offer a 10% student discount. Please email a copy of your valid student ID to eastsidestudioldn@gmail.com and we’ll apply the discount for you when booking.
What are the available payment methods?
We currently accept payment through the following methods: Bank Transfer: You can transfer the amount directly to our account. Details will be provided once your booking is confirmed. Please use your name as the reference. Cash (Preferred Method): Cash payments are preferred and can be made on arrival. Stripe (Card Payment): Card payments can be made securely via Stripe. This option will appear automatically during checkout. PayPal: PayPal is also available as a payment option at checkout for a quick and secure transaction. If you're booking online through our website, both Stripe and PayPal will be shown as payment options during the process. For bank transfers or cash, just select "Manual Payment" and follow the instructions provided.
Is payment required in advance?
Yes, payment is required in advance to ensure smooth use of the studio. Whether you're paying online via PayPal or Stripe, transferring funds beforehand, or bringing cash on arrival, payment must be completed before your session begins. This helps us manage bookings efficiently and ensures the space is fully prepared for your use.
Can I pay in cash?
Yes, you can pay in cash and it's actually our preferred method. Paying in cash on arrival keeps things simple, avoids processing fees, and allows us to confirm your booking immediately without delays. Just make sure to bring the exact amount on the day of your session.
Is there a deposit required?
Yes a £150 refundable deposit is required. This will be returned to you as long as no equipment or property is damaged.
Do I need to provide ID to use the space?
Yes, we require all users to provide valid photo ID (Passport, Driving License or a valid International ID) when booking the first time. This helps us keep the space safe and secure for everyone.

Where is the space located?
Our space is based on Whalebone Lane South, RM8 1BA, just near Asda and McDonald’s. Full address details and access instructions will be provided upon booking.
What are your opening hours?
We’re open 7 days a week, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Available time slots will be clearly shown when you make a booking.
What is the nearest train station?
The nearest stations are Dagenham Heathway and Chadwell Heath. From either station, you can take a direct bus to the studio or use a local taxi service for convenience.
Is parking available nearby?
Yes, free, on-street parking is available close to us.
